As people all around the world recognize their potential and contribution to the society, they admire and respect these women for bringing a much-needed change. This year, YouGov compiled a list of men and women who are most admired by people all over the world.
Within this list of Most Admired Women of 2021, we find Priyanka Chopra Jonas from India along with renowned personalities like Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey Scarlet Johansson and Taylor Swift from The United States of America, Emma Watson and Queen Elizabeth II from the United Kingdoms, Malala Yousafzai from Pakistan and Angela Markel from Germany as the top 10 admired women for the year 2021.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is placed in the 13th position and Sudha Murthy on the 14th, respectively. These women have acclaimed this position with their outstanding performances and motivational work that have inspired millions of people all over the world.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a celebrated actress, model and philanthropist who has been appreciated for her works in Bollywood and Hollywood industries. She debuted in Hollywood showbiz with her television series- Quantico. Over the years, she has made a name for herself in the West with her noble initiatives in collaboration with United Nations and with her versatile style of acting. Currently, she is promoting her Film- Matrix 4, a renowned franchise among sci-fi lovers with Keanu Reeves.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a renowned actress and the winner of Miss World Pageant in 1994. She has received a lot of love for her works in various movies in the Tamil and Hindu film industry. She also played a role in Pink Panther and is the brand ambassador for various brands like Lux, L’Oreal Paris, Fuji Films and many more. Sudha Murthy is an Indian author, social worker and chairperson of the Infosys Foundation. She started her career as a computer scientist and engineer and over the years has made a great effort to improve the conditions of the rural areas by participating in various rural development projects. She also found numerous orphanages to provide shelter over the heads of little orphans. She is the author of different Kannada and English novels including, The Mother I Never Knew, Three Thousand Stitches, The Man from the Egg and many more. Her motivational talks have inspired a lot of women in our society to pursue their dreams and live a life they have always wanted to live.
Indian women have taken over the world with their innovations and unique perspectives towards different work profiles and careers. As we get inspired by these strong independent women, we realize the potential we have to claim the world and bring a change.
