Founder, The HER TribeI Took the Leap…
I was born and raised in a small town in India, where career dreams were limited to just two choices—become a doctor or an engineer. And like many others, I thought I wanted to be a doctor. But after an unsuccessful attempt at that dream, life took me on a different path. I completed my graduation, explored different avenues, and by the time I was finishing my MBA, I got married.
Moving to Delhi—the bustling capital region—was an overwhelming shift. Here I was, a newlywed, with no career direction, no plan, and no clue what lay ahead. But life has its way of surprising you when you least expect it. In 2000, I landed my first corporate job with a multinational company, and that’s when I realized—this was it! This is what I was meant to do.
I loved my career. I thrived in it. For over two decades, I juggled boardrooms and bedtime stories, tight deadlines and PTA meetings, business strategy and baby milestones. I climbed the corporate ladder, took on leadership roles, and somehow, between all of that, decided to have my second child—11 years after my first—because, honestly, I never had time before that. It was exhausting, but it was fulfilling.
Then, 2020 happened.
The pandemic shook the world, and like many others, I witnessed pain, loss, and uncertainty all around me. But the moment that changed everything for me was when two of my closest friends lost their spouses—suddenly, without warning. And in the midst of their grief, they were lost in another way too. Despite being educated, they had no idea about their family’s finances, no access to investments, and no financial independence of their own.
That hit me hard.
I had spent over 20 years navigating corporate challenges, breaking barriers, and proving my worth in boardrooms. But what about the women who had given up their careers, put their families first, and now found themselves completely unprepared for life’s cruel turns?
That’s when I knew—it was time to take the leap. The HER Tribe
I started The HER Tribe—a community where women stand for each other, grow together, and take back control of their lives. Because empowerment isn’t just about inspiring quotes or Women’s Day posts—it’s about real financial independence, career growth, emotional well-being, and self-belief.
We address the challenges that truly matter:
✔ Financial Literacy & Freedom – So no woman is left financially helpless.
✔ Career Mentorship & Skill Development – Helping women restart, grow, or transition in their careers.
✔ Emotional Well-being & Mental Strength – Because self-care isn’t selfish.
✔ Women’s Health & Wellness – Prioritizing the body and mind that carry the weight of it all.
Since launching, The HER Tribe has grown into a powerful movement of thousands of women. From free webinars to mentorship programs, from skill-building workshops to financial planning sessions, we are building a space where women don’t just survive—they thrive.
This Is Your Tribe. This Is Your Time.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck. To question your worth. To wonder if it’s too late to start again.
I also know the power of taking that one bold step.
The HER Tribe is here for you—whether you’re an ambitious professional, a homemaker looking to restart, or simply a woman who wants to reclaim her life, her choices, and her freedom.
So, are you ready to take that leap?
